Spotted

Normally, a doe would stay with her young ones for a year. In this case, however, the fawns are roaming our hillside alone...

This blog is so different from your Naples blog (which I like and enjoy, too), but there is something very special about these photos. Are you using a different camera? These fawns are beautiful!

Yes, in MI I am using a different camera. It is a low-end Panasonic Lumix but it does have a 12X Zoom!

I'm still figuring out how it works, however. Most photos are hit and miss...

on our way to Makinac City a coupla evenings back, we said a little hello to this fawn who'd made his way to the rest area.....they are adorable, gentle beings...it hurt me to see them killed on the way to Upper peninsula....if only we'd drive slower and enjoy the scenery and nature ....
